"I purchased the Royal Engraving Foil Brush set with this after reading some of the reviews. My experience is with using those, not the added wooden one.
Overall, this is very detailed. And a unique concept. This is nothing like the scratch offs I had as a kid, with the bright rainbow colors underneath. This has what appears to be metallic colors, at least on top of first page.
Again, it's very detailed. I am legally blind (20/300 in best eye), and can do this using a magnifying glass."

- I would call this a beginner's scratch-off book. The size is approximately 4"x6" and the designs have been greatly reduced and simplified. If you've never tried a scratch-off book, this is the one to try.

Again, it's very detailed. I am legally blind (20/300 in best eye), and can do this using a magnifying glass. - Interesting to do. Very detailed, so not necessarily relaxing. So now I'll work on one when I'm a little bored but not in the evening when I plan on winding down. Consider your first one a learning experience. Disappointed that there is color behind the black, even where it's not designated for scratch off. Once I dropped my scratch-off tool on the one I was doing and had a long scratch with orange showing through in an area that should just be black, so now can't consider using that one for decoration. On another one, just moved my arm the wrong way & have a similar scratch on that one.
- It̢۪s a fun project to pass the time. When I received the product there were already quite a few places where the top part was already scratched off. It wasn̢۪t that big of a deal because I just wanted this for fun.
- I would have rated 5 stars but when I received the book, several pages already had scratch/scuff marks on them. However, OMG these are by far the most addicting scratch art pieces ever, and the rainbow holographic foil underneath is absolutely stunning!!!! I will be sad when I've run out of images to work on lol.
- Tiny. Photos not designed for scratching off. Tool provided is not for intricate or detailed work. Ex Leaning Tower of Piza all one color, gold. Pretty and shiny gold. But not as advertised.
- Smaller than I expected but cute. Not really sure why I thought I could do this at work during my down times. It is very messy but still a cute idea!
- I am giving it 2 stars because the stylus that was supposed to be with the pictures was missing. What am I supposed to do without it? Really disappointed with the item.
