- This book is worth every penney in just the first couple of pages. Leadbetter has written a real gem. This book has the nitty gritty details of how to go out and play better golf quickly and easily. I have bought and read about 4 golf books this year and this book is by far the best. Leadbetter has a way of explaining golf in the form of sensations. This book has a great drill that instantly allows you to feel how the swing is "supposed" to be felt. Once I had that sensation in my mind I instantly started hitting a repeatable swing for the first time. I took my wife out golfing today and explained to her that sensation of the swing and she was hitting the ball correctly for the first time. Excellent book, its a winner.
- I have read quite a few golf books over the last year. I am a beginner and I found this book to be extremely useful to me. It doesn't cover the swing fundamentals the way Ben Hogan's 5 lessons does, however this book is an ideal companion to Ben Hogan's book as it fills in the blanks that Ben Hogan's book doesn't cover. 100% golf covers topics such as ball position, hand position in relation to the club (i.e. hands lead with short irons, trail with woods, etc. It also provides some excellent drills from warm ups to swing faults, which is essential if you slice off the planet the way I do! Thoroughly good read, it is a must read in my opinion. For the beginner, get 100% golf and Ben Hogan's 5 lessons and you can't go wrong!
- David Leadbetter is perhaps the golf instructor most responsible for the evolution of the modern golf swing. He rose to fame in the late 80s and early 90s as the teacher of two dominant players Nick Faldo and Nick Price. The swing method that Leadbetter teaches is particularly well-adapted to changes in golf clubs and golf club technology in the last 15 years or so. This book offers an excellent and easily-understood description of what fairly might be called the Ledbetter method, as well as some excellent suggestions regarding practice drills.

You need this one on your shelf for reference!! - Having read his other instructional books, I purchased this one thinking what else can Mr. Leadbetter share. And share he did, from basics to advanced techniques. The photographs (frame by frame) were brilliant and the text were short and crisp - drills that you can take with you to the driving range to try.
It would be nicer if he had a section on course management. - David Leadbetter explains the fundamental of golf in systematic way and easy to understand. And it works. I am craving to learn golf, and this book makes it become more interesting, and makes me feel to learn more about golf. I realize that in golf there are different level of skills, and we have to play according to our level, until we become a better player, then start to learn 'more advance' technique.
- David Leadbetter is one of the top teachers in the world and this book is all about the game of golf and how to play at a very high level.
