- As with all of the books in the Hank Zipzer series, this one is light hearted yet touching. Hank gets to be in the school play, even though the school bully pulls his pants off right in the middle. This in spite of his legendary trouble with math, which, amazingly, he begins to overcome with the help of a surprising fellow student. Hank is funny, lovable, believable even, and well worth the price of admission to the book!
Didn't you always know that the Fonz had a good heart?The Curtain Went Up, My Pants Fell Down #11 (Hank Zipzer) - This is a delightful book from the series by Henry Winkler. My grandson is autistic--but has a wonderful sense of humor (he draws his own cartoons). He also participates in drama camp -- so even though this was a little below his reading level, I knew he would love the character and the circumstances surrounding the story. He did-- so I consider this a good summer read for kids. As a former English teacher, I believe that reading fun things develops both imagination and skill.
- Great Book
- Simply love love these books all of them. Great reading, hard to stop reading. Family will enjoy as well if your kids love to have reading time after dinner or something. Great conversation after finishing the book as well.
- Ordered them for the dyslexic typeset, but that was only in the most recent book. Grandson loved it though
- My 8 year old boy LOVES the Hank Zipzer series. They are the only books that keep his interest. I highly recommend all books in this series.
- Bought it for my one grandson. He really likes these books. In fact he likes all of these books. Well written and very funny. Today he asked if I could buy him more of them.
